Consulate General of Switzerland in New York
The Consulate General in New York also offers 3 internship positions to qualified candidates in the following sections:
- Economic Affairs and Communication
- Culture and Education
- Swiss Business Hub
The purpose of these academic internships is to offer students or recent graduates an opportunity to discover the activities of a Swiss representation abroad and to become familiar with the diverse aspects of a diplomatic career.
All positions are full-time (40 hours per week) and run for 4 to 6 months. Remuneration for the positions is USD 2,200 per month.

Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations
You will be the assistant to the “Peace and Security” Team at the Mission. Your tasks include secretariat, calendar management, organization of trips, reservations of conference rooms, research on the internet, arranging meetings (logistics and catering) for all members of the team (5 people). You will also play an important part in managing contacts relating to the deployment and rotation of Swiss military and police personnel in the framework of UN peacekeeping operations.
